Driver Technologies
Driver came to Blossom Creative as a start-up needing their first visual identity. Driver is a dash cam app that uses both the front and rear cameras of your phone to monitor what’s happening both inside and outside of your vehicle, which is what sets it apart from other dashcam apps that only record outside. The logomark visually represents that feature.
I also designed an informational sell sheet and a set of icons for use within the app, on their website and across all future marketing efforts. Driver’s branding helped them connect with potential users as they continued to grow and become a serious player in the global dashcam market.
This project was completed in 2018. Since then, the logo has changed. As Driver grew further into the global market, feedback from the Asian cultures was that the logo looked like a dragonfly. So, they decided they needed a simpler concept that could be understood globally. This is a great example of how and why branding needs to evolve as companies do!
